We explore many different aspects of the theatre, from stories about all different kinds of people, sometimes fairy tales, sometimes modern dance,  innovative puppetry, magnificent songs or even high tech visual projections and general magic that appeals to young audiences.  Each show is completely different and unique.     We bring high standards and expectations to each performance that little red theatre brings to the stage.

FELT: A STORY OF LIFE

TOURING NOVEMBER 1 - 10 2018 FOR GRADES 1 - 6

wkshp-mandela6.JPG

Little Red Theatre and dancer Bill Coleman  create a masterful combination of words and movement, celebrating with your students as active participants in the origins of life, the big bang, the rise and fall of change, and exploring all possible futures.  Myths, history and childrens’ personal stories blend together in dance, poetic visuals, and sound. This unique performance takes place in the round, transforming your gym into a sharing circle.      Lots of Audience participation.

THE SNOW QUEEN

by Hans Christian Andersen, script by Jody Terio, Musical Score by Scott White

ON TOUR JANUARY 15 - MARCH 15 2019

SUITABLE FOR K - 4

Kai’s heart has been accidentally frozen by the trolls and he is stolen to the palace of the Snow Queen. Gerda will find her way beyond the impossible, travelling to the snowy wilds of Lapland to find her lost friend and warm his heart again.  Hans Christian Andersen takes the simple lesson of ‘growing up’ and imbues it with its own unique and special mysteries. And of course there are lots of cool lighting and music effects that turn your theatre into a magical snowy palace.
